THE FLORA & FAUNA OF SNOWDONIA / PLANHIGION AC ANIFEILIAD ERYRI

Inspired by the sweeping landscapes and natural beauty of Snowdonia Mima curated a mixed exhibition with an environmental focus that celebrated the beauty and diversity of Snowdonia - from the mountains to the sea.​

The artist line-up included Dylan Arnold (photography), Emma Barley (photography), Kirsti Hannah Brown (ceramics), Terrence Bunce (ceramics), Naomi Bunker (bronze sculpture), Kim and Gerald Dewsbury (painting), Rachel Farr (mixed media), Ffion Gwyn (painting), Katherine Keatley (embroidery), Matt James (pencil), Glenys Lawson (painting), Valerie Land (painting), Jane Lloyd (painting), Flora McLachlan (etchings), Ian Phillips (printmaker), Iona Pickard (knitwear), Nerys Rowse (printmaker), Les Symonds (woodwork), Alexandra Symons (jewellery) and Mel Williams (encasutic).

The collection created a diverse and evocative visual interpretation of Snowdonia and the nature and wildlife that inhabit it. The exhibition featured of the S4C heno programme as a highlight during the exhibition. Below are just a few of the samples from the exhibition.
