Sally Ellis born in 1971 and raised amongst the disused quarries, lakes and ancient woodlands in and around Snowdonia, where she was completely surrounded and inspired by it's pure rugged  beauty. She originally studied Art Foundation in St Mary's college at Bangor and has a background of being a part of mixed and solo exhibitions whilst building up a large body of collectors.

Her preferred medium is watercolour ink, and she also produces artworks using a variety of other mediums,  techniques and subject matters..... from her portrayals of some old welsh sayings and landscapes to her popular imaginative and meditative botanical art which grows from her mindscape and her artistic core. These pieces evoke the natural rhythms of our language and our wild landscape which triggers one's own imagination to weave away from the mundane and familiar.
