Judith is a keen walker, and her walks are often on the route covered by Llwybr Cadfan, especially in the hills behind Dyffryn Ardudwy. She is also interested in Ynys Enlli, especially the local wildlife, the pressure of the sea and its connection to the Arthurian myths and Merlin. 

 

Using photographs as a starting point combined with images derived from research into local myths and history, she produces detailed pieces of work which reflect the essence of the area.

 

Her work starts with a canvas onto which she layers paper and plaster to form a textural base for the image. Her works are finished with layers of acrylic paint, ink and varnish.
