Emma originally trained in London and holds a Masters in Photography and 1st Class BA (hons) in Photography, Digital Imaging and New Media Journalism. In 2017 she moved to Gwynedd and founded the Oriel Tŷ Meirion art gallery.

Over the years Emma has exhibited her own work in New Zealand and the UK and gains her current inspiration from her connection to the landscape and nature through the process of walking.  

For the Llwybr Cadfan exhibition Emma is exploring the process of pilgrimage and journeying through her photographic practice as she encounters the varied landscape; including the places, people, culture and history that is to be discovered along the route.
