At the heart of Carol’s work is the discipline of drawing and her connection with nature which inspires and feeds her creativity. She weaves emotional and psychological narratives from observing how humans have interacted, impacted and changed their environment. 

 

The work Carol is creating for the exhibition is based upon research and walks she has taken on sections of the Llwybr Cadfan. The resulting works, made in graphite and watercolour, capture her artistic and spiritual connections with nature, and the ancient and modern infrastructures she observed in the landscape as she walked.
