Beth Horrocks

Beth is a Welsh contemporary landscape artist and known for her uplifting colour palette and unique playful mark making, her digital vector drawings evoke nostalgia and appreciation for the dramatic landscape of Wales.
Her inventive strokes may be easily mistaken for traditional paintings upon first glance, upon close inspection her drawings show a fresh contemporary art form depicting Wales in a modern yet classical light.
Beth loves the great outdoors and sees her artwork as a celebration of Wales’ outstanding natural beauty. Beth aims to push the boundaries of modern painting, illustrating the seasons using a range of different digital brushes, depending on what mood and form she’s trying to convey on canvas.
For the Llwybr Cadfan exhibition Beth is exploring the Cadfan pilgrimage path between Porthmadog and Criccieth. In particular views from Moel-Y-Gest, Borth-Y-Gest and Morfa Bychan.
